Use Vintage Fabric in Outdoor Entertaining!

Poolside, outdoor entertaining….. does it get any better than that this time of year in Tallahassee? We think not! 2013-09-13 16.24.49

Recently, one of our staff hosted an outdoor party at her home. The weather is perfect this time of year in Tallahassee and what’s better than a perfect poolside setting. The party was for a very special bride-to-be, so Danna, hostess and fabric-lover extraordinaire, pulled out all the stops. Beginning with a Chrysalis vintage fabric, intimate 4-toppers and high-tops were layered with white floor length tablecloths and the beautiful Chinese lantern fabric. The black background of the fabric highlights the spectacular colors of the lanterns while the new trim added that touch of the modern. Alternating colors of the trim kept the table toppers fun!  Expanding on the Chinese lantern themed fabric, Danna added decorative and functional lanterns outside the front entry and throughout the trees by the pool. Glimmers of candlelight provided the most inviting ambience for her guests to enjoy the celebration. We think it was a super-successful, super-fun design! Thanks for your constant inspiration Danna – and congratulations to the happy couple!
